Aussies Don't Beat Around The Bush! (Goodnight Post)

Earlier I popped into Discord and watched a video about how Youtube is discriminating against Australians because we don't beat around the bush when communicating.

True, political correctness is slowly but surely like snake venom flowing into the mainstream of our society, killing off the true blue nature of our Australian ways, but we are still alive and kicking.
If there is one place on this earth that the poison called "political correctness" shall meet its match it is in Australia.
We have a long lasting tradition of saying things as they are, no BS, to beating around the bush, no tippie toeing around and worrying about who all may cry about it later on. Better to tell it as it is and ensure that we are understood, than to be scared of the truth, that is the Aussie way, always was and always shall be.

To prove my point, here is an official sign from one of the governmental departments, in which you can see what I am talking about:

These might not be acceptable in some countries where "political correctness" is more important than telling things as they really are, where people are more concerned about what is or isn't "politically correct" than being concerned about getting the message across effectively and sincerely!

So to all those who judge us for being so open, honest, direct and for being the way we are, sincere with the best of intentions and for the best of reasons, THINK ABOUT IT!

The above signs may have put a smile on our faces, but this goodnight post of mine is a lot more than just a laugh, it is a direct response to all those who care more for the regime of "political correctness" than for the truth, who believe that avoiding the truth is more important than the sincerest direct truth without any gift wrapping!

THINK ABOUT IT!

Who would you trust more, a person who tip toes around the truth, or a person who tells you the truth to your face without any gift wrapping?

So when tourists see signs like these, you may laugh but then again..... if you THINK ABOUT IT... there is a lot more behind them that what may meet the eye!

Every night before going to bed, I try and find something to share that can put a smile on all our faces, sometimes when looking through all the material available I don't know if I should cry or laugh!
