Because training to kill people is in defence of the nation and serves the government and political elite, whereas saving lives serves the entire population and they see it as your choice to try and make a large amount of money. tis a messed up place we live in
Indeed, Here in Europe we can not believe that it is possible to buy ammunition in normal grocery store in America. That is just insane, and costs many lives, every year. Guns, bullets and all other material should not be up for grabs for anyone who wants them...
Americans have guns to protect themselves in case their government goes rogue. Kinda like it has already. I never understood this either at first. But their 2nd amendment should read, "their responsibility" to bear arms. Rather than their right. The USA is a fucked up new system if you will. They've had treasonous governments in the past.
Ps. If Americans didn't all have guns, we would already be living in a 1 world government! Hence why the government wants to disarm them. Less resistance.

Look, the 2nd amendment dates from an era where arms (pistols) had to be loaded with gunpowder and a bullet to "load" the pistol, every time. Which means it was impossible to walk around with a loaded pistol, unless you weren't afraid to lose an arm or a leg. Now guns are automatic and can bear 12 or more rounds and are ready to shoot at any given time. That makes a very big difference. This amendment is outdated and insane... hundreds of innocent kids die every year in America because of that. If you have kids, I have, then you should understand me...
