Some Last Words in the old before we start a new year!

in #funny8 years ago

It is almost New Year, 2017 - And after almost half a year beta-testing on this Platform it will be good to start a new fresh year in a few days, and in that consideration - I have saved some last words for the last part of this year and well... They are juicy for sure.

I am wondering about SteemSports, their owners - the hate against @ned & @dan from a gang of whales and a few other things

@smooth - how many % do you own of @steemsports? and how many % does @nextgencrypto own? etc.. etc... It is a serious question btw.

come on guys - this smell "organized crime" (in lack of a better term) long way, are you taking us for fools? Are @beanz and @noisy idiots who don´t understand it, then make us all a favor and do a real keynote-presentation and account for everything in the plans, you just paid yourself a $7 upvote, and obviously you like money and business no matter if you burn the $7 publicly tomorrow matters nothing when there is a million users on @steemit and that 50% rake is worth millions of dollars over time.

What is the reason behind the HATE towards our FOUNDERS, @ned & @dan?

I have seen how @engagement, @illbeyourfriend, @thecyclist, @croatia, @ozchartart, @coinbar, @steemservices, @ozmaster, @nextgencrypto, @silversteem, @silver, @justin, @nextgenwitness, @berniesanders and @smooth (guess how many real people are behind those accounts) shit and piss on @ned & @dantheman whenever you can, wherever you can - and I think it is time for all of you "who mined Steem from the start" to put all your cards on the table and tell us what the hell it is that you want.

Transparency in Vote-Games / Ownership

Why not open up the " @steemsports company " for everyone and hold an ICO and be completely transparent about it and make sense instead of sneaking around acting like first time petty thieves/pick pockets.

Have you ever considered that there might be hundreds of people in here that would like to buy shares in the SteemSports Company? I mean seriously - that account will be worth billions of dollars over time accumulating steempower, or it will become worthless if everyone who is not an owner of @steemsports organize into a union against your casino in old fashion labour-party-style.

And who knows - maybe that is exactly what will happen as smart money is coming into steemit, while ... well, "the early miners" are trying to rule this little world.

How about some common decency and transparency for once? You all gave me hell for yelling at @heiditravels one time, and you guys are a gang who points fingers at everybody but yourself. Do you not understand that we see everything you do, and talk about everything we see?

How about you guys stop being shady, and start talking with us, be upfront and honest about things for a change?

That Would be profitable.

Resteemed. It's time to make noise and clean up the shop. I will be writing analyses in the forthcoming days. People don't understand this issue, so I will try to explain it in-depth, like my other work ;)

Great Scott!! We need to go back to the future, I mean the past - I mean! We need to fix this time-space-continuum mess! :D

Maybe a second reality ;)

Yes - Make some Noise!

@fyrstikken before you trip yourself up too much, kindly stop with the FUD, it's 2AM here so this will be short. Go look on Bitshares, there you should see see a dormant SPORT token, that is ours! @smooth has already seen the ICO business plan and knows what we are capable of producing for the Steem community, hence why he supports the project, we will be partnering with a professional ICO partner that we will be interviewing and selecting in January.

The account is owned by two co-founders @thecryptodrive (CEO) and @furion (CTO). Specific ICO details will be rolled out as soon as we have chosen an ICO escrow and advertising partner, everyone will have an opportunity to buy into our content driven prediction platform and help us grow it to compete with Gnosis and Augur.

I have an idea for a sharedrop on both Steem and BTS which I want to propose, which Steem actually failed to do for its BTS heritage.

Now please let us build stuff and be great for the Steem and BTS communities instead of trying to take us down and wasting our personal time with stress inducing trolling behaviours, many of our team are family men and fathers who want to spend time with their family instead of fighting off attacks on our project.

Many thanks @thecryptodrive

@steemsport , most of the time you get upvotes from many.
I also do upvoting to @steemsport and Many.
@steemsport don't do many Upvotes to Many.
Now you starts doing Downvotes.
You call yourself Sporting? Cmon.
I afraid to say, I don't need yours Pennies!!!
This is the last draw. I have seen and monitoring, I know what is going on.
Right or Wrong @steemsport shouldn't do Downvoting. Very Wrong! This is Abuse Account.

@steemsports @thecryptodrive @furion @smooth : Great to hear - you should come and talk about it on @beyondbitcoin or @steemspeak and spend time with us and be open and transparent. - Thank you for answering some of my questions which is the questions of many many people. We will talk soon :)

I was on Fuzzy's show @beyondbitcoin not too long ago, last week if I recall. You can probably catch it on Soundcloud. I always have time for Fuzzy and will definitely use his @beyondbitcoin show to help launch our ICO and talk more in the new year about our project, in-fact weekly updates would be a good idea. Regarding transparency, all of our actions are on the blockchain, feel free to look.

@steemsports @beyondbitcoin that is awesome, BeyondBitcoin Show is live right now, I don´t see you there.

"It is all on the blockchain"

Dude - come and talk with the people @thecryptodrive, do some serious AMA´s - be real transparent.

I have called on you for weeks and don´t get a response, but we are much more people on @steemspeak so you will reach more audience, but I agree you should be more on bb.

and don´t flag my post bro, we are not enemies.

You flagged my post. Are we enemies?

Why should anyone get on your "show"? You ramble, curse and shout randomly.

You also flagged my comment where I asked a sincere question about your position (which you never answered) on something you cursed the developers over in SteemSpeak and in which I made sure I mentioned your behaviour.

Then you flagged a totally unrelated comment I made on another post as well: A joke. Yet you're supposed to be the funny and "tolerant" guy?

Perhaps a live stream youtube Q & A session?
Man I wish I had time to wrap my head around all aspects of the steemian community.

@furion here. I have removed the flag from the post and I apologize on behalf of steemsports.

Our team has been working very hard, for months, without pay, but with love for STEEM and SteemSports and it is heart breaking to see hateful attacks - however this does not justify @steemsports account being used to flag in response.

@fyrstikken, I would like to thank you about your concerns in regards to the ICO. The ICO is a possibility, however, at this time its just that.

We currently face more pressing challenges - namely user adoption. If you have any suggestions on how we could tap into gaming communities, and onboard people onto STEEM, feel free to contribute. Any general suggestions for things we could improve are welcome as well.

Thank you

A Bit too late there for Unflagging, I have made up my mind. Who ever flagged,
The Steem Sports account shouldn't be use for Downvoting. See my previous message.
I will start doing Downvoting for the Fat Trimming.
Didn't know until today.

Fyrstikken get down from your high throne.
You do not represent the community and you do not represent me.

You don't deserve the power you were given anymore than the people and accounts you rail about in order to gain more attention and influence. It's sad to see so many suckered in by you simply playing the part of a typical populist.

You add nothing to the conversation. Just putting a "fyrstikk" to the gasoline as always.

EDIT: This is not a defence of anyone. Vote buying is a separate issue.

RE: You do not represent the community and you do not represent me.

Sure he may not represent you. But he does represent a fair amount of the steem(it) community. Especially since spending many hours in SteemSpeak where much of the community goes and talks and anyone is more than welcome to join in anytime. Some appreciate such speakers getting things talked about and looked at.

Note: Respect to everyone as we openly express idea for best forward moving solutions through the beta phase of steemit.

I sure hope that's true right now, but I just can't say that from the experience I've had.

Were you on the time he rambled in Norwegian about fucking a fictional character out of a childrens cartoon? And were you on the time that he screamed so high at me that his mic cut out? You probably were not or you wouldn't be suggesting it's a welcoming server.

Sincerely.

I have seen and heard both of sides of fyrstikken. He does go overboard in some ways. There is friction at times. But other times meeting of minds and people there have talked out things with varying ups and downs. Sorry to hear your experience wasn't all rosy. I have experienced such with different people as well.

Thank you to both of your of expressing yourselves. Which I believe is good for us. Hopefully we can all manage well / better.

holly shitcoin - it is my ex-boyfriend @the-ego-is-you :D trigger-warning!! Don´t explode again :D

You have no sense of humor at all you grumpy cat <3

kisses

You were the one screaming, cursing at me and flagging me to hide the truth, where you not? Not me. =)

The only reason you picked up this thread is because you're a populist. That's all.

Well, stop being so bloody negative and short-sighted all the time, and maybe I will start liking you, sock-puppet.

oh darling, you know I never kiss and tell <3
XO XO

Are @beanz and @noisy idiots who don´t understand it...

I don't know why you feel the need to call them idiots, but my assessment of this is, yes - they absolutely do not understand it. And it's not just them. You and others don't appear to understand it either.

I have read and heard the arguments over the past week about SteemSports, "vote-buying," "manipulation of the rewards pool," how "unfair" distribution is, how "unfair" curation rewards are, how auto-votes and trails are "abuse and manipulation," etc.

What I have not seen or heard from any of you is an understanding of how this system actually works - as it is actually designed to work. All I continue to see and hear are arguments about how it needs to be changed because of the actions of large stakeholders and because voting is incentivized...which is the entire point of this platform.

...are you taking us for fools?

Well, until you guys actually comprehend this critical aspect of Steemit (stake-weighted voting and incentives), your constant complaints about "unfairness" and "inequality" will fall on deaf ears. These complaints will also continue to fall on the ears of new users who understand less about the platform than you do (as impossible as that may seem) and will ultimately skew their perception of how this platform is designed and functions - which will only serve to further skew their expectations, leaving them frustrated and sending them back to their previous social media habits.

Furthermore, as you continue to make fools of yourselves and flag other content that you do not prefer (we can include your subjective value judgments as well), you will be less likely to see that support that you so badly crave from the more influential users. The more you denigrate those with the influence to make a difference, the closer you come to self-fulfilling the prophecy about your "quality" content not receiving the rewards that you demand.

My question to you and others is this:

What is your end game?

All of these complaints...but what do you propose we do about stake-weighted voting and incentivized curation? That's the heart of all of these arguments. How do you propose this gets "fixed" so that every user can earn "equally" or "fairly?" And why should that even be a goal in the first place?

You are the only person coming to steemspeak to defend your abusive vote buying toy. Next time, bring your friends and get yourselves some mics so we can talk this out like adults.

...to defend your abusive vote buying toy.

First of all, I have no need to defend it. It's not "abuse" and it's not "vote-buying."

Secondly, if I was defending it, I certainly wouldn't feel the need to defend it in SteemSpeak. You guys have proven repeatedly that you do not understand this platform.

If you think whining and complaining all day long about content preferences and subjective value is how "adults" work things out, you're sorely mistaken.

Thanks for this rant, I have to admit I have been falling for the steemsports trap. Seeing a few Penny's add up in my account is not worth the feeling of bad moral jugement. Going to go cold turkey on the whole steem sports. And share this post for others!

We are not blind and we will not pretend to be!

Reminds me of this song :

The sound of a powerful viking.

well, I tried the sound of music... it dident work ;)

Thank you for writing this!

How any real people are behind those accounts? Taking a very generous and tolerant definition of real.

lol, now you are getting me started philosophically here :D
loving it!

A good and sound answer. A very philosophical and sophisticated answer. Avoiding the question.

So another, totally unrelated, question. How many whales were there in your favourite fantasy novel? You needn't name the novel, since everybody needs some personal secrets.

I only read the Hardy Boys, so I guess.. Chuck :)

@smooth - how many % do you own of @steemsports?

None, and I don't get anything from them in any other way either before you ask or insinuate. They have said that if and when they do an ICO advisors might get some coins, but this is customary as I'm sure you know, and wasn't even on the table for most of the history of the Steemsports project.

come on guys - this smell "organized crime" (in lack of a better term) long way

If you are going to engage in baseless false accusations and ignorant FUD, then I'm going to switch from actually responding to you to just flagging your posts as the "Internet Trolling" that they are.

We can discuss things as respectful community members or you can continue to behave as a platform abuser and be treated as such.

Good to hear @smooth. Dialogue is what we want. I wish you would answer the question about where this hate comes towards the Co-Founders, noticed everyone has skipped that part of the question.

It irritates the hell out of multitudes of people around here to see a trail of whales flagging @dantheman or @ned. Not a troll-question either - and not fun to ask questions like this but they got to be asked.

If we can go into the new year, leaving behind all the "he said, she said" in this year, we may all have an extraordinary great year next year with less frictions and more positive productivity.

I am a human, I like peace and quiet, order and protocols, systems that work, and the way I (and many many others) have seen @dantheman being flagged to oblivion and talked bad about behind the scenes. What exactly is the problem - why is there still a problem, and when can you guys shake hands and cooperate with each other instead of fighting each other?

I for one want to know if there is going to be reconciliation.

It is natural to form an "insiders vs outsiders" mentality even through @ned and I attempt to avoid having things too much "inside" (maybe to a fault).

Disagreement is to be expected, it is how we deal with disagreement that determines the success or failure of the platform. This best thing we can do is avoid making judgements of peoples intentions. Keep things factual and look at actions and outcomes.

@dantheman Many of us consider ourself Beta-Testers of the steemit-platform, instead of taking the popular high-paying job of writing collusive arts and participate in the voting-guilds we look for cracks in the foundation and voice our opinions. In the past, those opinions got flagged to oblivion by those that benefitted from it, and I am glad to see that the level of maturity has come to a level where we at least can communicate with one another now without being afraid of "saying something wrong".

You are right Disagreement is to be expected, and I for one think that coming on @steemspeak and @beyondbitcoin and talk things out in public AMAs are sometimes more important then to write long papers about issues or ignoring the issues that our commonwealth - the community sees and talks about.

I can´t help but feel that my intentions have been misunderstood by the community-whales since day one - Yet I have never participated in "gaming the system" but rather the opposite.

If the technology underneath the surface was not good enough - I would not be here. In fact, I have a high paying job I wanted to recruit you to, but got so impressed by what you had created here that I did not even bother to ask you as I see what enormous potential this will have now and in the future.

If you had any idea of how few people in this world that truly understands cryptography from math to code to product from scratch, I can tell you that there is only a few handfuls, and they all have a desk full of requests.

That is why I do not want to see more hate as I call it coming towards you from whenever or whatever reason - because I know first hand that developers like you does not grow on trees and I do not want to see you give up, quit and move on as you are the single most valuable asset to this platform, and people should know that. It is true information.

Keep up the good work, the good intentions - live free and prosper and have a happy new year!

There is no "hate" that I know of (but then again I can't speak for everyone). Again you are being inflammatory. That doesn't mean people necessarily have to agree with everything they do or behave in an ass kissing fanboy-ish manner. No one with a capacity for independent critical thinking conducts themselves in such a way. The projects that are the most successful are those with an open exchange of ideas, including well-considered criticisms, and the best leaders are those who encourage and are receptive to such legitimate criticism and alternate points of view.

@smooth I know you do not speak for everyone - but dude: "ass kissing fanboy" - "You are being inflammatory" - Spare me for such accusations please, and take note of which tags this is posted under so you may "get it", my question was if there is going to be reconciliation?

Maybe someone else can answer that.

"A House divided cannot stand" - I for one do not want to see more division, the way the powerful collective act makes incoming investors scared. So maybe you powerful people should get to a good old round table and come to some agreements so that we can put this silly civil war like behavior behind us?

The community is growing, and to make this place trivial - we need and want peace, transparency and fairness. This is three things that you collectively can provide by a gentleman's agreement/round-table/peace meeting.

It is time to build bridges.

my question was if there is going to be reconciliation?

There is nothing to reconcile on my part, and I can't and wont speak for anyone else.

Thank you for your answers, and for your time @smooth

I wish you a Happy New Year :)
