One Heart │My Entry for Contest of the Month by @funditian

A heart is a symbol of love, but for me it’s also a symbol of strength. Our heart brings out the toughness inside us in times of direful situations and the resiliency after a calamity. Our heart moves us to give aid to others as much as we can and the willingness to sacrifice our own comfort to support the needy ones. Each one of us needs one heart, just one heart, to be human. Generally, human became a monster in this world but it is possible to bring back the old state of human with the right mindset and proper use of our heart.

We’ve been beaten up by heavy rains and awful flooding in a span of a week. But, we remained positive and ready to move on from this calamity, became resilient because of one heart.

This is how I started my work. I was inspired by ‘love’ and incorporating the old artwork technique that I learned from my grade school days.
