Ithaqa Fundition Update #40 We Did It! 100% Funded on Fundition! Let's Talk Rewards
Hey all, just wanted to say thank you for a successful @fundition campaign! If you look on our page, you can see that we have reached both of our goals to pay for the new pages and new letters for Ithaqa Issue 1!
This means that a digital version of the completed issue 1 will be released to all of steemit for free. Additionally, those of you who donated to the campaign directly will receive some extra rewards!

Excellent news! Congratulations on a job well done to everyone involved. I guess there will be something similar for issue #2, right? I'll have to check out fundition and see if I can help, too.
fundition certainly proved to us that it is a viable way to fund the comic while also growing our audience. It's likely they'd be a part of our strategy going forward.
Maybe we would look to kickstarter for funding the print releases, while fundition would be used to pay our creatives.

I'm so glad the Fundition site itself is working well and actually working out, was very happy to throw a little Steem this direction as I could so at least it added up to something, plus I think the layout of the site is great as every upvote to a post is support and it is cool to see all the support in full avatar form on a page all laid out.

The site is really pretty, and since upvotes cost nothing, that platform could overtake kickstarter someday, providing steem keeps growing!
