Every week I receive new pictures and updates from Indonesia so we can continue to create fundraising posts supported by fundition and tribe steemup for important sustainable projects in the local community of Anyar Village in Lombok.

This week was different, Adi our local representative in the community was not able to forward on any of his photos because WhatsApp photo and video messaging features have been disabled.

This was following some rent a mob riots in jarkata....

It's the very photos and videos of the so called riot that is being prevented from leaking out via social media in order to stop a domino effect of riots breaking out.

Riots are said to be unrest due to Widodo taking a second term of presidency although the opposition, former general Prabowo Subianto, tried to declare himself president just after the voting despite a clear win for Widodo.

The riotors look like they may have been paid as evidence suggest that 'officers had found some of the people they searched were carrying envelopes containing money, suggesting instigators behind the trouble'
