Idle hands are the devil's workshop
This is to be frankly, a silly post.
Perhaps you've heard the above saying? Perhaps you have not?
Whatever the situation, essentially it means that the devil will find a use for Idle hands, and it's usually those that are Idle that get up to mischief.
This is the case in my life.
Let me highlight where I am in my life:
We are small farmers that have been supplying the local market with great organic cabbages.
Our product was a hit and it was going reasonably well.....sales wise that is.
BUT small time veggie farming doesn't make much money, and that was our case too.
And then the worst happened, we were hit by white / black rot that annihilated the next 5000 cabbages in a few weeks.
We managed to get 60 out.
This together with the wife's car being ruined by a car checkup, resulting in a huge bill of R22k to fix forced me to start looking for work again.
Not what the plan was....at all! We're happy here. Poor but happy.
So it's back to work to settle financially, and I will be starting again on the 1st of April in my usual field which is IT.
This way I can finance things while still slowly growing the farming side.
So I have little farm work to do (we do have a personal garden we're working on which is going great guns!), a little prep for a future farm supply (have local market still asking) and some work around the home to do.
I also finished the book series I was reading.....the Stormlight archive (fantastic series BTW). This doesn't help!
But this is not keeping me nearly as busy as I was before.
IDLE HANDS PEOPLE!
It got to me too I'm afraid!
I burnt through 100GB of data because of this!
Yup our entire data allotment for the month I destroyed through YouTube, music and other crap (I'm not a porn watcher).
My poor wife is affected too. She used this data for her posts and relaxation too.
We may giggle at my indiscretion, but the eyes roll people....and they're real eye rolls!!
So what is my lesson here? Keep busy! Find useful things to do.
I think as penance I need to use all my mobile data now and stay off WiFi! LOL.
I hate writing these posts from my phone....it's 'clunky'.
So be patient with me and my posts....researchingntjings from here are not easy, but I love my wife, and my life, so I shall doing so and be finding other goodly things to do!
That is till the new month rolls along of course!!

Howdy sir towjam! haha, I just asked in your previous post about your job situation so now I know. The best of luck to you in that, I hope that it boosts you far ahead in finances and then I hope steem goes up in price so we can earn more money here and that will help too.

But for now its back to the job market (I start tomorrow actually).
I wont give up on the dream of self sufficiency though....I believe in todays crazy world it is more important than ever

My wife had to go back to work and I'm thinking about it. The crypto market needs to take off again.
I havent made any actual moola from it (Crypto) yet, but at some point I would need to take some out and see how that process is :)

yes, I wish I had a big surplus of crypto and I'd take some out just to see how the process went.
I have some mates that are big on Steemit and they made millions on the platform. Buying large farms and changing their lives because of their involvement.
I was invited by him when he started...but alas....I was too busy in my old work to spend time doing it. What a silly mistake lol
He just laughs at me now
oh my gosh! what a story..I guess all you can do now is laugh. They got in when Steemit first started and sank a bunch of money into it? That was a heck of a gamble!
They did mate. At one stage their value when crypto was doing so well he was worth around R40 million...no jokes!
Thats around $2828184 at todays rate
He took 100000 and put it into Weku too because of how it did him so well on Steemit
