What is your car trouble?

I want to give back to Steemit community and provide some help on something that I know very well. Cars and how to fix them.

Please ask me about your car issue. Won't go into gear. Strange sounds. Don't know if you should take your car in to the shop. Just ask.

Send me the make, model, and year along with car symptoms.

G'day Socky

Having some car problems of recent and a dodgy mechanic who left me out of pocket.

Did a wheel bearing on the way home on a long holiday drive. I was around 20km from the nearest small town. The tow truck arrived and apparently he also owned the mechanic shop in town.

He did both the wheel bearings left and right at the rear and charged me $750 I ended up driving another 300km and discovering when I hit just under 20kph the abs kicks in and makes a loud noise and spits your fit off the break.

He stated I need to visit Toyota and during some communication he was in he's mind that he measured the router rings correctly. Although this was not the case.

Sounds like you just got a bad mechanic. Ultimately, you will need an inspection to determine if anything needs to be repaired or replaced. Generally when routine maintenance is performed, the mechanic will point out anything wrong if they notice it. With high milage vehicles, I recommend that you get a brake shop to do an inspection on your brakes. An inspection is often times free where I live. I don't know if that is true where you live. I also recommend asking the parts stores where to find a quality mechanic that is honest. Sometimes they have experience with who is a good and honest.

Reminds me a silly mechanic I got stuck up last time. Lol, quite funny.
