Peach Marquise with Strawberries #fruitsandveggiesmonday 🍰🍓

Hello to the steemit community. Today, Monday, I wanted to participate in the #fruitsandveggiesmonday contest, patocinado by @lenasveganliving I wanted to bring a delicious recipe for all lovers of marquises with fruits. I hope you like it and are encouraged to do it.

Peach Marquise with Strawberries

Ingredients to prepare the sponge cake

• 06 eggs.
• 210 grams of sugar.
• 240 grams of flour.
• ½ teaspoon baking powder.
• 2 tablespoons of water.
• ½ teaspoon vanilla.

Elaboration:

Separate the egg white from the yolk. Once separated place to beat the egg whites until stiff, add the sugar little by little until you have a sigh mixture. Continue adding the flour previously sieved and add the liquids to let beat for 5 minutes and add the egg yolks at the end let integrate for 2 minutes. Once the mixture is prepared, place it in a mold of 24x4 cm previously prepared with butter. Pour the mixture into the mold and bring to cook over medium heat for 30 minutes. NOTE: for a mixture of air do not hit the mold before baking and do not open the oven before 30 minutes. If you open it, the mixture can not rise and the cake is apermased.

To fill the pastry cream sponge cake

Ingredients

• ½ liter of milk.
• 125 grams of sugar.
• 01 egg yolk.
• 50 grams of corn starch.
• Essences to taste, cinnamon, vanilla and lemon peel.
• 30 grams of margarine with salt.

Elaboration:

Place milk, sugar and egg yolk in a double bottom pot. Bring it to a boil in a bain-marie bath, add corn, cinnamon, lemon peel and margarine. Bring to a boil while stirring for 20 minutes or until the mixture appears, once ready turn off the was and add the essences. Let stand to refill the cake.

To elaborate the Marquise

• Cut the cake into three equal parts, with a knife to close.
• Embed the cake: as you soak it, with syrup or a liqueur of your choice.
• Place the pastry cream evenly with pieces of chopped strawberries and peaches.
• Place them evenly and without placing the meringue, placing the frits to decorate, the peach filleted and the short strawberries in the shape of a rose.
• Once the Marquesa decorates with Swiss meringue.

For the preparation of the Swiss meringue

Ingredients

• 1 cup of egg whites.
• 1 and ½ cup of sugar.
• Vanilla clear essences.

Elaboration:

Place the egg whites and the sugar in a bain marie, let cook for 5 minutes over medium heat, always mixing with a wooden palette while stirring. Once the mixture is ready, place to beat for 20 minutes in a blender with the essences. Once the mixture is ready, cover the mark. Allow to cool in the fridge and then taste as a family.

Such a delicious looking cake. but it has eggs in it and Lena wants this challenge to be vegan. That means nothing that comes from an animal. No meat, eggs, milk, honey.
You did a good job showing us the whole recipe!

@mariannewest. Thanks for the clarification. if it is a very delicious marquesa. I will read the rules carefully in the next contest and thus be able to participate better.

I think for a lot of people the difference between vegetarian and vegan is a little fuzzy. But while vegetarians do not eat meat, they will eat other animal products. for a recipe to be vegan, it can't have any animal products at all. You might want to look for other food competitions and change your tags - can't change the first one.

Although this cake looks fabulous, it cannot be included on our competition since it is not 100% plant based. Please read the RULES HERE @saimondonato . Thank you for understanding🍒 🍌🍑🌿🍍🍓🍇
