Fruit and Veggie Monday

I just came home late last night from being away. I felt like Old Mother Hubbard, except I went to the refrigerator instead of the cabinets and darned if she isn't running on empty. So I laced them up super early and went for a run, then headed over to the farmer's market-turned-into-a-smallish-indoor farmers market. It is all grown on their farm and all the noodles, bread and whatnot are made by them. Truly delicious. Almost like mama made.

Nice squash, yes? Winter squash is so easy to cook using as little as three ingredients and a little heat. Put three in my cart please. :)

The rhubarb looks amazing today and I have been waiting to get some to make some strawberry rhubarb jam (and pie) I run recipes through my head while I am making my way through the store.

Their farm is miles and miles of yumminess, row by row of goodness.

Yes, even the peanut butter is homemade. I'm nuts about it. Truly.
