Finding Papa
Today I enjoyed tagging along on the Plan B video posted by @papa-pepper. Through a little internet map searching I found him. He is the closest Steemian I know. 
I live in Oklahoma. It is somehow comforting to realize there is company reasonably close.
It is also fantastic to learn about people and places around the world. Today I visited 3 continents.
Through time and exposure to those who regularly post on Steemit ‘friendships’ are formed. Personal historic bonds are formed. People gradually expose their values.
I likely will never travel the world to meet my friends, but they have changed my life.

There is great iota of truth in this. Steemit really has exposed us to learn from places we have not been to and likely might not visit throughout our life.
