Being brown is not a disease, mother always said to keep your hair clean. Combed or braided some people just had it or they didn't, who would have thought an appetite for good hair would become a thing? It just was what it was, good hair was the thing to have and so was a sense of dress.
Good clothes, hair products, and nice shoes these were the things nana always said brought self-respect and looks of appreciation. Nana never lied.
This appetite for fashion escalated during life in New York City. The fashion district was a second home, Century 21 or Saks had everything a girl could ask for. Park Ave, 5th Ave and Soho ... no one could ever beat these streets full of beautiful textiles, fabric, or Chanel sunglasses.
Burberry, Jimmy Choo, Miu Miu, Manolo Blahnik you are my best friends ... only a girl would understand this type of appetite.

haha yeah it kinda is but i have varied interests and tastes ... since leaving NYC i'm more nature and mountains but i still have designer just nowhere to wear it! dressed up and nowhere to go! wahhhhhh :p

thanks so much! in the beginning ppl were given more of a free pass, some people have been deleted but a lot more are in the contest. shrugs. we may have to keep going for 100 days, some are in the group and write every day. who knows !!? but thank you for the vote of confidence. :)
