During my nature walk in my car today, I drove around the lake in my sister's neighborhood and noticed so many ducks. Once they got to San Antonio they got too fat to fly south for the winter.
Just like the people that live here, just too many tacos being sold. I even spotted a crane.
There was a whole bank of ducks just chilling. Yesterday high was 85° and it was the middle of February, no wonder these guys are confused.
It's a pretty nice pond with turtles, swans, ducks, cranes and raccoons.
I've never seen anybody fishing the pond so I'm not sure if there's any fish in there. Probably just minnows, like me. 😁

I love the coloring of ducks. The single one looks like it has an owie on its belly. Send some of that warmth to the west coast please. :)
Yay for raccoons, and other wildlife. Looks like a cool area. There was something similar near where I used to live, I saw a nutria there. It was so exciting. It's amazing the little bits of nature you can find sometimes.
