Today I'd like to try and teach you how to roast chestnuts in a toaster oven.
First you gather your chestnuts and scar them with an "X" on the flat side. Make sure you go deep enough, to get to the "meat" of the chestnuts.
Next, place them in a toaster oven for 20 minutes at 350°.
Remove them from the oven and peel them while they are warm. This task is easier if they are warm.
Now that all the chestnuts are peeled, you will see that these are all bad, as they are hard as a rock.
Take the shells and the chestnuts to the composter and don't buy your next batch of chestnuts in the State of Texas. 🇨🇱

Yes! Even when I've put a fork through them before they go in the oven, they can still explode. I've never been the same again! 😃
