Day 84: 5 Minute Freewrite- Thursday Prompt: sound check
The music teacher and her band were at the rehearsal for the high school play and she did a sound check. After 15 years of the boring sound check she decided to liven things up a bit. Singing TEst souND CHeck, and a one, and a two, and a three. She then told all band members to play their instruments individually with their own take on how the sound check should sound.
It was the night of the play and the music teacher began the sound check, but when she got to the number 3 she couldn't help herself and kept going. Singing...souND CHeck and a one, and a two, and a three six nine, the goose drank wine, the monkey chewed tobacco on the street car line, the line broke, the monkey choked, and they all went to heaven in a little row boat.
Then the band followed with their musical rendition of the sound check, one after the other. The audience went wild, dancing to the music and having the time of their lives. From that night forward, every time the band played at the school this was the introduction and the audience made sure to arrive early, so they could boogie to the rhythm of the sound check.

I laughed when I saw your drawing today because yesterday I did a freewrite about a woman with an hourglass figure. LOL! : )

Yep.. Back home now.. Not sure, but might to to the countryside for a day or two with family... But at least my seminars are over... except for the essay due next month.. hihi ^^

How is it going? Don't ask. It is one of those months where nothing goes right but hopefully those days are behind me. I had every intention of the new year starting off great but these past 11 days have been anything but. But like I always say...it could be so much worse. I love that song too but I can't take credit for it. When I was a child (a very long time ago), I heard my next door neighbor singing this song, 3 times while he was working in his yard. It stuck with me and I never forgot it. : )

You are such a trip! The song is not original though. When I was a child (a very long time ago) I heard my neighbor signing this song one day while he worked in his yard. I loved it and never forgot it. But I am happy to have started your day with a smile. : )
