#freewriting - Bad news

If you like you can read part 1 here HERE.

He leaned back in his chair, closed his eyes for a while.
He felt satisfied about the article he wrote. Like usually he had invested a lot of time. So many files to read. He loved the research most of all.
The article was clear, there was plenty of proof, saved well. He hardly slept but it was was all worth it. Bringing out this news. For sure it would shake up people.

As he read the morningpaper sitting at his desk he thought he would go mad. Which bastard wrote it? One of these damned sewer journalists he hired?
He was sure this could mean the end of his carreer. The more he read, the more miserable he felt. Since he quit smoking, he chewed fanatically on pencils. A way to control his nerves.
What will I say, how can I change this into something positive, he mumbled. How many people would respond, write, call to the paper?
He wished the day was already over.
The name, who wrote this piece of shit? At the same time he read the name his telephone rang.
It was an automatism to answer it, before he knew it he picked up the phone, while he was spitting out the pencil remnants on his desk.

"Tomson what do you mean by this", he shouted.
He hit the journalist with the newspaper in his face.
"Any idea what chaos you created? How mad some people will be if they read this? If you like to keep your job you better find a way to rectificate this piece of shit! Mr. Soros is far of pleased I can guarantee you that!".

Tomsom was shocked. What the hell was his chief talking about?
"I did it all by the book", he stammered, but the chief already walked out and slammed the door behind him.
The truth can be hard, but he wrote nothing but the truth. As he put on his coat and walked outside his office a delivery boy handed him over an envelope. As he opened it a piece of paper with the text: "number 4 is on its way" was wrapped around a cookie cutter.
