Asphasia is one of my symptoms that I get as well, especially once I've reached what I call "the point of no return"- where no drugs can touch the migraine and I'm in for at least 24 hours of dealing with it and the aftermath. One of my worst days I was trying to make it through my last class with a migraine, and my poor kids were so confused.

Student just shakes head and reads the objective.
How is the daith piercing working? Have you noticed a reduction in your migraines?
Oh, how I relate! I forget names and words as well as things I know well.
It's miserable when it happens. I'm very sorry that you experience this, too. I haven't gotten a full-blown migraine since Saturday. The barometric pressure has been changing, and it's currently raining and getting warmer. I'm waiting with bated breath!
