This is my entry to the freewrite daily. I am going to continue with my fiction writing.

5 Minute Freewrite - Prompt: Fire

"Why are we going to this town again?"

Nell asked in a very angry tone. She was not ready to go to blanches town. She googled the town and learned a lot of creepy things about it. Considering it was solstice time. She wanted to spend the holiday somewhere else.

"Come on. Nell. Let's check it out. New town few conservative people and new food to check out." Anne tried to calm nell down.

Car entered the town border. And it seems few house after there was one motel. And it seemed open at that time.

Anne parked the car and took the group to the checkin counter. She noticed there was one old guy sleeping on the chair.

"Hello, we are four people looking for a room" Nell yelled at the guy on the counter chair.

"10$ a night. Food and cleaning extra." The guy said with his slow and hard voice.

"You guys can get the food in 10 minutes. We have steak and it's going to be solstice fire tonight. Do join us. Thank you."

The guy said this as if he byhearted it and was being told to say it.

"Great here's your money. We are in the middle of nowhere town and we are going to eat steak and dance in front of the solstice fire."

Anne opens up their room and asks nell, gary, misa to drop the stuff. They get the steak in the room along with the juice.

"I am not eating that steak. I'd rather have the juice". Nell is kind of tired of this old school town stuff.

Nell finishes her juice and goes to sleep.

Rest of the group continues with the food.

Around 12:45 am nell suddenly wakes up and finds herself in the middle solstice fire rock.

Her friends chanting "Witch. Witch. Witch."

Nell looks at her friends. All of them now have the dark eyes. She is surprised why they have such eyes and calling her a witch.

Her friends along with villagers are around the sacrificial fire rock.

"Let the fire get in. Burn the witch".

Note: This story is in just draft now. As I have picked up the prompt word and decided to expand the story from there onwards. I am not sure if I ever going to finish this story. But I hope I earn enough steem dollars from here that I can do this full time and proof read and present it properly. As it's current state I am sticking with keeping stories short.
