5 Minute Freewrite - Prompt: Callous
"Maria. Have you seen some of the kids in the neighborhood? They are so bad."
Ms Nelly was talking to her cat again. And she was not happy about kids playing on the road.
For some reason Ms Nelly was always against little kids. And it was really sad to see that she never welcomed anyone in her property. She used to call police whoever gets in the fences. And it was something people nearby used to strictly follow and avoid her.
Then comes a day when Little anna got into the neighbourhood. She was the only child of her mother. And her father was in the prison. Father was wrongly accused of the theft he didn't do. And he was going for the prison for 3 years. This was the reason nobody really liked Anna and her mother moving in the nearby home.
But for some strange reason Ms Nelly got friendly with this little family. She used to help Anna and her mother for things. Ms Nelly and Anna seems to have developed some sort of connection. And they seem to be doing a lot better with the new friendship. Ms nelly changed a lot. And now she was no longer hating little kids anymore.
One day Ms nelly and Anna was walking home from the park.
Suddenly a car got out of hand and ran random on the road. In order to protect Anna, Ms nelly pushed the anna off the road. And the car ran over them.
Entire neighborhood felt bad about this.
"Nelly used to be one callous woman, Anna chaned her for the better".

Note: This story is in just draft now. As I have picked up the prompt word and decided to expand the story from there onwards. I am not sure if I ever going to finish this story. But I hope I earn enough steem dollars from here that I can do this full time and proof read and present it properly. As it's current state I am sticking with keeping stories short.
