The entire village was outside, waiting for the expected sign in the sky. It came every 6 months, without fail, but this time it was different, the lights were falling, creating huge fire balls dropping to the earth, erupting into explosion seen for miles away.
       Sheila wiped a yellow curl off her face, as she watched the sky, she looked at her hands, at the dirt under her finger nails. "I'll never get to take another bath."
       "It doesn't look it." Jim said, her poor of an excuse of a boy friend. the only reason he was still with him, because he was the only person he knew still alive. The plague had already wiped out the majority of the population, and besides he was handsome, lean and tall, sharp facial features, and dark eyes that made her loins moan.
       "You think," she said, and pushed him away. "Lets get back into the bunker before we are hit."
       He grunted and rolled his eyes. "After you," and whispered, "bitch."
       "I heard that Jim." and walked into the bunker, and stopped. "Look at that," she would tell each busload of tourists, pointing at at the water fall, it isn't real, you a goddamn picture my husband hung in the bunker for some stupid reason. and rolled her eyes. "Please take it down Jim. If I wanted to see a someone smiling I would ask you."
       JIm groaned and grabbed the poster and yanked it off the wall. "There you go princess," he said, and whispered, "bitch."
       "I heard that Jim." she walked away from Jim and sat on a recliner that Jim had drug out a house and somehow managed to get through the door. she thought life, and how she had been cheated. It wasn't to end like this. indeed she had imagined moving to Hollywood and becoming the next big star, but no, the day she finally saved enough money the lights show up it sky, and then set a plague lose on the world, stupid fuckers. I hate them, and she did hate the lights in the sky, more than she hated Jim's egotistic attitude. "I hate them."
       "Me to," Jim said, and plopped on a bean bag he dragged from the same house as the recliner, and grabbed a Mad magizine and read the cartoons. (Timer)
       he stain got bigger, she thought, as she looked at the coffee stain on the carpet, imagining it was blood. I could do it. Shut him up once and for all. yes, I will,?em> "Jim I left my last pack of cigarettes outside on the stump by path, can you get them for me."
       Jim closed his magazine and tossed it on the floor. "Sure," he said, and whispered, "bitch."
       "I heard that Jim." She watched Jim get up and walk up the small steps and twist the large level for the metal bunker door and disappear outside. She saw her chance and rushed to the door and closed and latched the lever. "Teach you to call me a bitch." she returned to her recliner and sat down, popped a cigarette in her mouth and lit it, and let a gray column rise up and surround her head like a wreath. She felt bad for Jim. He may be beautiful, but she couldn't stand being around him.
"Why did you shut the door for."
She looked up in surprise.(timer went off so I hurried and finished)
       "I got a key you know," he said, and whispered, "buitch."
       She shook her head, and thought, God Heklp Me.>
       Jim sat down. "The hillside is on fire. I wouldn't go out there for a while."
       Then the Earth shook, and the lights flickered.
       Jim whispered, "bitch."
       Sheila thought, "true."

       The weekend challenge is fun and challenging. I didn't make any corrections other than misspelled words.
