This is an amazing way of making me imagine how everything went in this story. It scared me. haha. I always believe that imagination is much scarier than the thrills and scares brought by movies. And you have a great of stirring my imagination.

"I grabbed her flashlight and while checking the breakers in the basement I saw a flash from the corner of my eye and shined the light on it."
