Beer Wall

The prompt reminds me of the song ‘Ninety-Nine Bottles Of Beer.’

“99 bottles of beer on the wall, 99 bottles of beer. Take one down and pass it around, 98 bottles of beer on the wall.”

This song goes on repeating the the two lines until you get down to one. I wouldn’t want to start at 600 bottles of beer on the wall and sing the chorus until one bottle left.

True story- I knew of four young men living together in a townhouse. Being single there was a lot of partying and they had what they called a ‘Beer Wall’ in the basement.

The Beer Wall consists of beer cases full of empty beer bottles lined up against the walls. When it got too much and the townhouse started to smell like a brewery, they loaded the cases onto a truck and took the empty beer bottles to the bottle exchange.

There must have been over 600 bottles of beer on the wall. They cashed in at over $300.00.

i don’t know what they bought with the money but a good guess would be more beer.
