Day 220: 5 Minute Freewrite: Sunday - Prompt: mice
This is my entry for the Freewrite using the Prompt - Mice. I spent a doubt ten minutes before embarking on the freewrite journey as to whether go in the direction of the computer device before deciding not to.
"What do you see?" came the booming voice of the captain.
"Incoming Enemy. Battalion East St of 5 mercenaries." squeaked Jr. Mousey Tim, who was in the periscope, serving the purpose of the periscope itself. Nothing was greater than the service for the mousehood.
Captain Cheese Killer McMouse walked hurriedly out of the command room and into the weapons area.
This was not the first time that they were being attacked. Being a mouse in the current days meant being on alert 24/7. Their regiment, Mousies KX17 was formed by the government to protect the civilians in the key city areas. They had been doing a great job so far and hence the current station at the capital, Furland.
"Men, Assemble!" Commanded the Captain dragging in with a box load of weapons.
I want to believe everyone in this character are animals, if so, nice work on the personification.
