"What might those be?"

"Aliens. We are about to be visited by aliens. Friendly aliens. Doesn't this make this a happy day?"

"For you, that might well be a happy day."

"Yes, it is a joyous occasion. Nobody should be sad or angry on a day like this "

"I'm not too happy, if I'm honest."

"Why would that be?"

"Because you've been asleep for a total of four hours today. You must have had nice dreams "

"Are you jealous?"

"No, I'm not jealous. That's not the problem."

"So what is the problem then?"

"This is your first day of work for us. You've been asleep for half of the day. That's not a good first impression."

"But it is important to take rests. It helps conserve the energy."

"For what? Doing the dishes? I wanted someone to make my life a little easier. Not go sleep."

"Can I come back tomorrow."

"No, I think it would be better if you didn't."

"Are you firing me?"

"Yes."

"What can I do? How can I make things better?"

"Not sleeping; that would be a start."

"I promise not to sleep."

"It would be better if you did sleep. Except tomorrow, do so at home. That way, you'll still be able to make contact with the friendly aliens "
