The Fools

This is the story about a man. He had spent the last few years thinking that he was one of life's success stories. However, in reality, his head had found its way up his own backside.

He had his opinions about people.

“They're all fools!”

Really? Is that true? I think it's time I paid him a visit.

“Fools, I tell you!” said the man. “If I had one wish, they would all disappear tomorrow. All the fools will be gone.”

Actually, I'm trying to be professional, but this guy is annoying me, a lot.

“So, you'd like all the fools in the world to disappear,” I said to him. “How about I make every fool in the world disappear for a day?”

“That sounds great,” he replied. “Let's do it.”

I better get down to the fine details.

“How about you, sir?” I ask. “Should you disappear too?”

“Of course not,” he replied. “I'm no fool.”

“Ok, so tomorrow, all the fools in the world will disappear except you, and myself.”

“Are you a fool?” asked the man.

“We shall see,” I replied. “By the way, we'll make it a whole week.”

I didn't even bother asking his name. I've just gone to seek advice from the Wizards Council. They're not bothered too.

“Horrible man,” said one of them. “I'm looking forward to tomorrow.”

The horrible man didn't even believe me. He decided to look out of the window at midnight to see if anyone will disappear.

However, I decided that his wish would start from when he wakes up. I just hope, for his sake, he's stocked up on his groceries.

How do you think this story should continue? I don't feel like it is finished, but I'm tired and it is time for bed.

Don't worry, I will tell you how it all goes tomorrow. It will be fun.
