“Have you heard the news?” asked Lulu.
“What news?” asked Lola.
“The word 'literally’ is being removed from human vocabulary,” replied Lulu. “We will no longer be able to say it.”
“That is quite literally a load of rubbish,” said Lola.
“It’s what I've heard,” said Lulu. “We will no longer be able to say la la la la la la la la la la…..”
“Why are you saying la la la la la la la?” asked Lola
“I'm trying to say la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la…..”
“Why aren't you stopping? Are you trying to say la la la la la la la la la?”
“I told you,” said Lulu. “Instead of saying that word, I'm going la la; but I'm finding it hard to stop.”
“You are trying to say la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la….” said Lola. “Oh my, I couldn't stop with the la la la la.”
“What do we do?” asked Lulu.
“Let's put the TV on,” replied Lolo. Maybe there'll be something on the news.
They switched the TV on to the UK news channel.
The Prime Minister was outside Number 10 Downing Street. There was lots of photography flashing.
“Nobody is able to say la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la,” said the Prime Minister.
“I don't understand the Prime Minister,” said Lulu.
“That makes a change,” said Lola.
“This is crazy. Soon, everyone will be walking around saying la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la…..”
“Stop!” shouted Lola. “You keep on saying, la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la……”
As you can see, this is a crazy situation. Soon the whole world will just be saying la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la…..
