Little Scream On The Prairie - Freewrite

in #freewrite7 years ago (edited)

"No. No. I won't do it again." Hazel screamed while the Big Bad reduced her to nothing but a tail as her friends watched in horror.
"She's looking at us again." whispered Susan.
"Do not make eye contact, Susan." warned Elaine.
"Poor Hazel." sobbed Vivian into her friend's furry shoulder.
"I told her several times to not look at her. But you know Hazel. She always saw the good in everyone."
"There's no good in that one." they all agreed.
Many prairie dogs had vanished since the Big Bad had come to town. Nobody was safe. She would wander the streets of Prairieville, daring anyone to even glance her way. The gutters of Main Street were filled with the tails of those who dared to challenge her. Maybe someday they would be free of her, but today was not that day as Hazel and friends just found out. Until then, they would just have to hope that she looked away, or grew bored of them.

It's amazing how five minutes flies when you're having fun.
