Sunburn - 5 minutes freewrite

They'd promised they'd watch the sunrise together, so they slept on the beach, huddled in his sleeping-bag, which smelled of the beer she'd spilled as she shook with laughter at his tales from the time he worked as a dog-walker.
When they woke up, the sun was up, of course... Never mind! They had the beach all to themselves, so they cuddled some more in the sleeping bag, quenching their thirst of each other, trying to make up for lost time, the time before they met, before they became a whole new being - two heads, four eyes, eight limbs, one soul.
The beach was still deserted when they went for a swim or at least they didn't see anybody. Who knows - they only had eyes for each other. They did not hear anything, but the I-love-yous whispered in each other's ear.
They walked the beach hand in hand, telling stories and picking shells - he promised he'd make her a necklace of shells, worthy of the goddess she was.

She dropped to her knees and started to build a castle where they could live forever, digging a deep trench so the waves could not get to it. High walls and wobbly watch-towers defended the only room in the castle, they only needed one room, so they would not lose each other again. Big white shells shaded the windows, no one would taint their love with prying empty eyes.
They'd spend the night right there in the temple of love she had built, locked in embrace, skin hurting not for the sunburn, but with the hunger of burning desire, two bodies consuming each other to become one.
