Meditation has been a part of my practice since I've started Taijiquan. Seated meditation has been a part of my practice for about 10 months consistently. One day I hope to be able to view my mind so that my mind will understand the suffering it is causing. This is hard work.

I hope for you as well. Maybe you can use the technique I learned a while back. Whenever something comes up to give that part some love and understanding. To consciously ask that part (could be your much younger self that had a bad experience and shows up in the mind) what it needs and to give it some loving... and to tell it that it is okay to ask for what it needs and you will keep giving it healing and love...
