Great job! The wife is a reptile creature - priceless! And the husband was the one poisoning the bushes, guess he's about to pay for that unless he can get her square on the noggin. Though a coffee cup may not do the trick!
I don't think the coffee cup will do it! I kind of see him backing up and finding a frying pan, but that won't do it either. Alas, his fate may be to fertilise the bushes that will now survive with his demise.
A well-written story. Great attention to detail, fluidity, and thoughtfulness. Surprised that so little attention is given to a good story while I've seen many crappy ones that earned more $$$

This story was written in 15 minutes, in 5 minute segments based on three different prompts and I didn't have much time to think about what was going on, so I'm glad that it all made sense!!
