Hey, @janton.

Well, I did do a minute or two of tweaking afterward, but I did write the entire poem in the the allotted time. I changed some words around and did some other editing, but the main idea is pretty much the same.

It wasn't easy, though. I had to have more of an idea going in what I was going to do than I normally would in straight prose. And while I did pay attention to beat, I only worried about rhyming the last two lines of each verse, to make things go faster. And of course it helped that I repeated the last line of each verse.

Well, I think this poem is actually layered. The Mexican wrestler was the initial inspiration, and it took a Nacho Libre turn, but in the end, I thought it could also work with any masked man who fights against evil. So, Zorro, the Lone Ranger, all the way up to the modern day superheroes.

At any rate, it's a poem, and thus can be interpreted in many ways.

I haven't ever thought of No Name wearing a mask, but I suppose anonymity is a mask, so there's that. :)

hahaha! it's so good to have you back sir Glen, no one can break things down like you can and I still think it's amazing that you could write all that in just 5minutes with the rhyming and everything.

did you get the chance to see my Indian Cowboy post yet, I just think you'd appreciate the vintage photos.
