Redemption: 5-Minute Freewrite Challenge

Good day Steemians and freewriters around the world!

The prompt for Day 363 is redemption, and I decided to write a continuation of the prompt from Day 362. Here is my entry below.

I stumbled.
There is pain.
But my will is unbreakable.
I can feel the heat of the sun.
But I can bear with it.
I stood up.
I started to make my step.
One by one.
I am able to run again.
This would be my redemption.
To be triumphant.
My opponents may be far.
However, I don't want to give up.
I may be left behind.
I will still fight.
I got close to the one behind.
Until I made it to th fifth place.
Then third place,
And finally...
I reached the second place.
I am close to the first place.
But I stumbled again.
But I got up.
Until I hit the finish line.
First place?
Yes!
