Mosquitoes: 5-Minute Freewrite Challenge
Good Friday morning to all the Steemians from the Philippines. I can't believe it! I have been participating for freewrite in 5 weeks already. Thanks to @mariannewest who organized this 5-Minute Freewrite Challenge. Well, I am taking part again today in this freewrite challenge, by which the prompt is "Mosquitoes".
Its scary when mosquitoes bite you. If it Aedis Egypti, it can possibly cause Dengue. At the moment, there is a huge issue in our country becuse of the vaccine Dengvaxia. It was approved by the previous administration and spend Php 3.5 billion to purchase the dengue vaccine and be vaccinated for free for children.
The problem arose that recently, the manufacturer of the vaccine, Sanofi, admitted that the vaccine should only vaccinated towards those who already experienced dengue. It caused panic towards the people because some children were vaccinated even not experienced the dengue yet. Parents who's kids are vaccinated and panicking.
The suggestion towards their parents is to watch over their kids not to get bitten by mosquitoes, or else, if they were diagnosed with dengue, it would be severe. The question by the people is why do they had allowed this vaccine immediately even studies were unfinished yet? Such question remained unanswered.
Current events this time because of the dengue vaccine issue in our country.
On the other hand, it would be great to use this app, http://www.themostdangerouswritingapp.com/write.html, when writing your freewrite. It becomes more challenging because it deletes your write-up once you stopped typing for few seconds.

Whoops, sorry I didn't read the fine print! OMG how can they REALLY do that to Children :(
Yes, it is a true story. Some are currently experiencing severe dengue, and they received the vaccine. In total, more than 800k were vaccinated. :(
My heart is hurting for those families! :(
This makes me so mad!!! always the same - big pharma says - give me money - it is good for you. then later - oops, what we sold you might kill you. so sorry for the children and the parents!!!

Actually, the past administration rushed to approve it and vaccinate it to the kids.
That might be true - but often there is money involved somewhere along the line..... donations to politicians, bribes, who knows..... 20 years later, we often find out....
