Like Bamboo: 5-Minute Freewrite Challenge
Good Monday morning Steemians and freewriters around the world! It's quite a busy day but we are looking forward for a better day that we can balance everything. I know some may have either manic Monday or Monday blues, but we all can get over and continue doing what we should be doing for a productive day.
I am unable to post that much #freewrite lately but I am glad that I always create one during Monday. The 5-Minute Freewrite Challenge is hosted by @mariannewest, and you can join by simple following her, show some support, and check the daily prompt. This #freewrite entry I am going to share was written using The Most Dangerous Writing App. You can set its timer to 5 minutes, then start typing. If you stopped typing for at least 3 seconds, everything you already wrote will be deleted. Now, it's time for my entry by which the prompt for today is bamboo.
We faced a lot of challenges.
With our faith, we remained strong.
No matter how strong the storm is.
Its foundation was deeply firmed.
The strong winds may come.
The ground may shake.
We stay standing.
Despite whatever causing has
to weakened.
We are trusting the One from above.
He gives the strength we needed.
The power comes unexpectedly.
That our feet stays on the ground.
*It's unshaken.
We may be looked down.
People looks at us as weak.
But they cannot see the strength.
It was built inside.
That they only rely or judge
on what they see with their eyes
Which is deceiving.
But the strength within was built by
the confidence we have from God.
It won't be broken. It won't fall.
It's like we're made of bamboo.
Looks weak, but it's strong.
Standing still despite the storm.
We can get through everything.
Get over everything.
Live life that we have.
Enjoy it, and use it
by serving the Almighty
who is the source of the strength
that we have.
