Grief: 5-Minute Freewrite Challenge

Good day Steemians and freewriters around the world!

A better day it is, and I am back for the Day 299 of the 5-Minute Freewrite Challenge, which the prompt for today is grief.

She is young.
She lost his dad.
Never shown a sign of grief.
Controlling the pain she is going through.
At the day of the funeral.
She's holding back her tears.
She even smiles occasionally.
But you can see in her face the sadness.
Yet not crying.
As time passes by,
the sadness in her has grown.
She's always alone.
Locking her room.
You can hear her sobbing.
As she goes out of the room,
she puts on a smile.
A mask that she always wear.
She's concealing her pain.
The fact that she's suffering.
It's the sadness caused by
not letting herself grieve
when her dad has passed.
She can't take it anymore
but rely on pills which she thinks
can make her happy.
Not grieving has taken its toll on her.
She's sadder than when her dad passed away.
She suppressed her pain, and it stays.
