5 Minute Freewrite Prompt : confirm

Sarah was moving as fast as she could. Time wasn't on her side, not at this very moment. The movers are due to arrive anytime soon and she was nowhere near 50% of her packing. She knew that she made a wrong call by waiting till the very last minute to this. But, she had no choice. The amount of work was piling up and packing was totally the last thing on her mind.

Sarah. It's confirmed. You're moving down to Strassboard on Friday. Make sure you plan yourself out and don't be late for your first appointment with Dean Paul. He doesn't like people being late.

That was the last message her mentor said to her. It still sounded like it was just a couple of hours ago that she last saw Dean Paul. Will he remember her after all those years. No one knew about their history and yet fate brought her back to seeing him, really soon.

Memories flow back to her.. Twenty odd years ago to be precise.

Dean Paul and Sarah Pallion was a couple, THE COUPLE! Everyone envied them as they were the perfect couple of the century back in high school. Everyone was expecting them to get married after school since they have been high school lovers since kingdom come. Both parents were even making wedding plans for them.

No one actually knew what happened. Why did they decided to split up ? No one except themselves. They agreed never to speak of the decision that caused them to go separate ways. It was mutual.

Whatever, it may be, she knew this was meant to be. Whatever the outcome maybe, this was something she needed to do. Finish it off for once and for all. There's enough loose ends in her life. And this was one of it.
