5 Minute Freewrite Prompt : benevolent dragon

Diana looked up into the sky and with all the strength she had within her, she drew out all her breath she had at one time. Large wave of fire claim the hundreds of lives that lay in front of her. Excruciating screams of pain burst into the silent night and sights of instantly charcoal human flesh was seen all over the place. The stench of freshly burnt human flesh choked the air which usually was scented with fresh lavendar fragrance from the nearby plantation.

The sky was in darkness although the sun was slowly rising from the east. The flames have clouded the beauty in the valley and all innocence and simplicity was gone. What's left was only pain, fear and hatred. However, Diana felt neither one of these. As she opened her eyes to see the consequences of her actions, she felt only relief and peace, as if all the weight in the world has just been lifted of her shoulders. In this case, off her wings.

Stretching her wings up into the sky, she suddenly felt a large piercing pain across her chest.

Arggh....

Crashing down onto the ground, Diana looked up at the small fragile looking creature in front of her. In the hands of this creature was what looked to be as the Stone of Heart.

NO !!! It cannot be !

You sworn to protect us. Against all evils that may come across this valley. That was why you were born. You're the Benevolent Dragon! You're Diana, my little baby dragon whom I brought into this world. And yet, you have brought death to this valley.

I HAVE BROUGHT DEATH TO THIS VALLEY

That same creature stabbed the stone of heart onto the ground and it burst into a thousand pieces along with Diana disappearing into thin air together with the hundred of soldiers that she burnt to death.
