Lovebirds, Part One -WeWrite with @stinawog

Neeeerooooooom, the eagle swooped and dove, filled with love of flight! And of a dove. A lovely dove the eagle saw in a backyard, and didn’t want to eat. The eagle began thinking about her time spent at a renaissance faire, and thought about how much this was like Romeo and Juliet. The dove probably had a mate already, since most doves seemed to come in pairs. Of course, being an eagle, she couldn’t MATE with the dove, but she could cuddle, oh my, she wanted to cuddle cuddle cuddle. Maybe just maybe the dove would want to cuddle, too, and the eagle should fly right over to that Pasadena backyard and try her luck.

“Hi,” screeched the eagle at the dove.

The dove disappeared under a bush. The eagle swooped to the ground and sauntered as best an eagle can saunter toward the cowering dove.

“What do you want?” said the dove.

“I want to get to know you,” screeched the eagle (eagles can only screech, while doves not only coo, but also just say things).
