I am sure they would not feel as lost now since the appearance of Shadland. Is that pearapple? I mean your photo. Is it sweet or sour?

    That's just an apple, though it's meant to represent the pearapple from the story.

    The Shadland is the name I made up for that breed of small pony in this world.

        I cheated a little by just taking the name for a real equine, the Shetland pony, and making the unvocalized "t" a vocalized "d" and moving a vowel.
