Pfarty (Freewrite: Prompt-Fart)

It was a Saturday evening, and Mia was looking anxious at her wardrobe. She browsed through her dresses one by one, tried one piece after another, but none of the pieces seemed to make her feel confident about herself.

It would be her first date with Tom - the guy next door - yes, they were neighbours.

What a coincident, they shifted into the neighbourhood on the same day and same time, for a job contract. Both single and not attached. Just like many Korean dramas, somehow, they fell in love after meeting each other everyday. Oh yes, no one would believe they went to lift on the same time, they worked out at gym at the same hour too, and they jogged around in the same wee morning TOO!

Love cupid must be doing something because Mia and Tom were posted at the same company as well, only different department.

So there was no surprise at all when they fell in love with each other.

At the wardrobe, finally Mia decided to just wear whatever comfortable with her. After all, they would not dine elsewhere but at Tom's place. He wanted to give her a dinner cooked by himself. Steak and wine, with candles, maybe.

So there she was at her house, trying to be as natural as she could be. Although first date always came with some nervousness.

Oh true enough there was a table prepared with candles. Can't believe he is romantic, she thought.

They were eating happily while chatting about all the coincidence and how they ended up being a couple. Love and laughter fill the atmosphere when suddenly...

Bbrrrrrrtt. Phuuuuuhhh. Phewwwwrrrttt. Ffffffffff.

Both of them coincidently farted at the same time. Just different type of sound.

Noticing Mia was embarrassed, Tom interrupted her shyness "I am really fine with fart. In fact, to me, family members who stay together, fart together."

They continued to chat about fart's onomatopoeia. The day ended with Tom proposing to Mia.

"Since we even fart at the same time, will you marry me so that we can fart together forever?" Tom kneeled and presented the ring. You could only hear Mia laughing.
