Why I left smoking cigarettes

Yes, i did it. I have left cigarette smoking after continuously smoking it for 10 years! Now i have completed 7 years of non smoking. Quite a accomplish for me.

I was quite sure while smoking a full packet of cigarette which contains ten, that my health was deteriorating. It was the days of my extreme youth and i exercised regularly. But i can feel that my performance in study, games and other activity was degrading.

Often i was ill from cough and fever and my mood to perform my daily task was hindered.
Therefore, i was trying to get rid of this smoking habit. And finally in 2010, i threw my cigarattee case and told myself to not touch it again.

From that day i have not smoked again. Quite often i dream of smoking and feel guilt in my dreams, but when i am awake then there was the feeling of relief that it was only a dream.

Now i am free from all complexities and toxicities.

Recently I turned 30, and something happened to me that made me go out and buy my first pack of cigarettes. I was working in a restaurant at the time where every single person smoked, and when they went out to smoke so did I.

My first pack lasted me over a week, but the Canadian packs contain I think 20 or more. I actually really enjoyed smoking, the buzz it gave me was nice, I got to socialize more, and it seemed to reduce my stress.

Well after that pack was gone, the cravings started, and I was really shocked by how powerful they were. I would wake up in the morning and my first thought was about a cigarette, then I'd be in the shower thinking about the same thing. The addiction to me was clear and I was only 1 pack in!

I have not smoked a cigarette in over 3 months now, and I don't think I ever will. It was probably over 2 months of feeling addicted before I could shake that feeling, so I have all the respect in the world for someone like you who can remain dedicated after much heavier usage.

Yes, they are very powerful toxic which craves your nerves tremendously. Even in your subconscious mind it enters. Therefore the dreams of smoking came every other day. But now it is over for all good. Hey, thanks for your generosity, you got a follower too.

And be determined like this. Don't let the cravings get into you. I know you can and you have already been doing it.

I am one of those people who never touched a cigarette in his life. But trust me when I say that addictions come in many shapes and forms. So huge respect for you quitting and not falling back. Keep it up.
By the way do you have a tip to convince others from stopping to smoke? I don't want to annoy them but I still want the best for these people. I know you have to convince yourself. But maybe a bit help from outside wouldn't hurt?

One thing is for sure that one have to be mentally prepared and Mentally strong to quit it. For strengthen the mind we should do two practices daily. One is to do #physical exercise and the other is #meditation. This two thing can change anybody's life and can be achieved anything.

Yes, these are the perfect motivator for a person to quit smoking. The sooner is better because as more time goes then more difficult it becomes.
