Freewrite prompt: FIVE
They have no child for years after being married. Finally, on May 5th 2001, a baby girl was born. Because the number five takes after the meaning of grace in Hebrew, they named her Grace, meaning the unmerited favour of God.
Grace grew up to be a young lady. But she wasn't happy, especially when others call her name. She had attempted to change her name to something else, perhaps Gene, Giselle, but just not Grace. She is nothing graceful. She can't dance, she can't knit, she can't sing, she is nothing near artsy. Everyone expected her to be like a decent young woman who speaks softly, and yeah everything in the definition of graceful. She is the total opposite, she laughs out loud, she likes motorcycles, she likes to repair things, she has the strength not less than a man.
One day, she couldn't take it anymore, she asked her dad, " Why did you give me this name when I am nothing like it at all? "
He replied with a loving gaze, "Because it is never about how you are, but who you are. You are our undeserved favour, our unmerited Grace. We did nothing to deserve such a beautiful baby like you."
Grace cried with her dad. They hugged and then they high-fived, because number 5 is now very special. Now she can fully embrace her name because that is WHO she is, in the eyes of her parents, not HOW she is.

Grace couldn't accept who she is because she dint understand who is she. But when her parents explained to her, she understood, understanding who you are is key to accepting who you are.
