Steem and steemit is a big wave for me. It will be the wave that in my opinion will be the change the cryptocurrency atmosphere needs and here's why.
Steemit is a great way to introduce people to cryptocurrency. They can literally walk outside and take a picture of the leaves changing color and post it to steemit and begin earning crypto. Before people would either have to dig fiat out of there back pocket, spend hours making a few cents on faucets, or commenting on sites like reddit or bitcointalk forum hoping to make a few dollars. With a quality #introduceyourself here on steemit you can make $10, $20, or even $100 of steem an SBD in a few hours.
Steem is the big wave of crypto as I believe it will be the first massively adopted currency if the following issue can be solved. Scalability. This is the biggest issue for every crypto out there and I think Steem is the furthest in the lead. Having more transactions per hour than any other cryptocurrency Steem and SBD transactions are free and almost instantaneous. As long as this can scale and remain this way it has a bright future.
Speaking of big waves did anyone get to ride that big wave last night and make some profits. Steem and SBD had massive gains on bittrex, polo and other exchanges last night. It was definitely a wild ride, but noticed @aggroed posting about how somoeone was able to turn $60,000 into 120,000 thousand last night. If you don't think that's a big wave than I don't know what is?

I'm with you on this, Steem represents the biggest part of my crypto investment to this point. I'm working on building other positions but on a tiny budget you can only do so much. I think there is huge potential here, I just wish the advancements and the new uses for Steem would roll out faster and the betas updated faster. I'm waiting to see what happens with the SMT's right now! 👍
