Piece of memory #Freewrite Day 208

Remember those years where mobile phones only exist in films about the future? It seems long ago but I really appreciate those days. During my childhood, the first mobile phone I see was a sony and only one friend has it, thatw as when I was in fifth grade.

Those were the days of papers, where we mostly communicate trhough it. I remember passing notes in class secretly or throwing them at our friend. I remember my teacher caught us a few times and we were to read out the embarassing thing we wrote on them.

Then there were those pretty papers that we love to collect. Papers with drawings on it and pretty colours were a trend and I used to collect many of them. Around fitfh grade and sixth grade, the girls in our grade decided to write letters to each other. Everyday I will choose a pretty latter paper and decide who to write to. Getting a reply letter was always exciting and fun, it is like receiving a gift but instead of things inside, we found their thoughts.

I still have those letters in a box and bring it with me everytime I move house, I have never read the letters again but looking at them I couldn't help but smile and tehy remain a treasure to me.
