Big cat purrs Day 160: 5 Minute Freewrite: Wednesday - Prompt: tiger

The sun is shining brightly and warm enough to satisfy him as he lay on his back, feet curled up and eyes only half opened, clearly enjoying this moment. The deep purr coming through his throat proved it. Now what would make his day better would be a big chunk of meat, yet at the same time napping is also important. This has always been a big dilema in his life, nap or food.

A nudge on his right and he tilted his head a little to see his brother nudging his side in amusement. He grunted and swats the paw away, only to receive more nudges. Sighing, he sits up, shaking his furs about and looked around. That was when his ears picked on the familiar sound of engines coming nearer. Grunting happily, he started running towards the sound and finally saw the big black box that he always tries to scratch. It irks him that he couldn't topple the box and even though he had given up long ago, it stills irks him.

"Hey big boy." A human goes out from the front of the box and he bounded to him at once, pouncing on the smaller being and rubbing his face on the other. His human, he purrs as he rubs their faces together, scent marking the man. "Okay okay, you missed me or the meat?"

Meat? He doesn't really understand human langguages, they speak funny and just too much but he knows what meat is. Call him a spoilt tiger but why the need to be all messy when food can be served to you just like that. Not that he dislikes hunting, he just loves an easier life.

This is so fun to write, I love cats, and big cats though I would be scared to get a big cat so I just wath them on discovery channel or youtube hahaha
