5 min FreeWrite Prompt - "The Taste of Chicken"
He made friends with the cannibals he met while travelling through the jungle. This was because he was the only one with a gun.
That first night he treated them to dinner around his campfire.
"MMMmmm!" said the leader of the cannibals, smacking his lips as he ate. "Tastes like chicken..." The other cannibals grunted their wry assent.
The explorer looked at them. "That's because it is chicken."
All of the cannibals' eyes widened in shock. They spat out the pieces in disgust.
"You fiend! How dare you!"
One of the cannibals began looking around desperately. "Wait! Where's Frank?"
"Who's Frank?"
"He's our Inspirational Chicken! Where did he go?"
Their dinner host shrugged his shoulders and gestured to the cooking pot.
"FRAAANNK!"

Very funny. My father- in-law was a Frank. When he was in trouble my mother-in-law would shout at the top of her lungs "FRAAANNK!"
Thanks for the compliment and story.
HA! this was great! and my hubby's name is Frank so I could hear the shouts loud and clear :D
Thanks, and I hope he stays out of the cooking pot.
