5 Min Freewrite "Flash" #freewrite
It happened so fast. And it was over in a flash. The flashing, that is.
The guy just ran up to her, right after she'd finished putting her groceries in her truck. He'd flashed his trench coat open, and then was gone in an instant, running pell mell between the cars and making this strange hooting sound.
And now she's standing there with her keys in her hand, trying to think. Was he even naked under that coat? She squints her eyes shut and tries to picture the memory, while a voice in the back of her mind asks her if she even wants to see this again. But she needs to know... In her minds eye she envisions his coat flying open and sees... a row of watches?
Looking in her other hand, she finds that she's holding a fake rolex. He sold her a watch.
How disappointing.
Written in five minutes from the writing prompt, "Flash" as part of the #freewrite exercise. Image is also by me; a montage of random sketches that happen to align somewhat with my story here. You can view the prompt here and check out the other entries, where writers bare it all in the minimum amount of time possible. Thanks to @mariannewest for providing this chance opportunity for such intimate exposure...
hahaha - so disappointing or a relief... LOL
