in #freewrite5 years ago

Dear friends

This is the weekend freewrite challenge. I am using @mariannewest’s #weekendfreewrite, to write this piece please read here. Continuing with Mary's life, after morning mist, it turns out that that morning, Peter and Mary meet a friend who interrupts their idyll. I hope you enjoy my fiction story.

Monastery

Spending ten days stuck in my own mind felt like being locked up in a cramped cell with a crazy person and not having any way out.

Now, in the Chinese restaurant on the corner. Thomas a friend of Peter who had met with them was telling them about the days he had spent in a psychiatric hospital after having suffered an anxiety attack.

There, thanks to the medication and the care of the doctors, he had overcome that situation.

Peter and Mary listened quietly to his story without believing that a person could be subjected to such a situation, especially considering that Thomas seemed to be a friendly and carefree person.

After finishing eating, Peter paid the bill and they went outside.

They found their way through the decrepit streets to an open square where they perceived a large archway with closed doors

There Thomas, seeing that scene, screamed in terror, saying:

"Friends I didn't expect to meet that bow again. Please let's get away from here."

They, without knowing what to do in this situation, decided to return in the opposite direction to go to a small shopping center.

There was jazz music in one of the bars, so now Mary told them.

"To calm the mood we go there to listen to some music."

With the atmosphere full of tobacco smoke, Thomas began to cough.

So Thomas told them:

"It seems to me that today is not my day, the city life now seems to be not for me."

Mary being so perceptive answered quickly:

"I think it is advisable to plan to move out of the city, there maybe nature and birds make you forget your misadventures."

Peter for his part gave his verdict:

"Thomas, I think that your ex-girlfriend left you mad, you should go to a monastery to pray with the monks to see if you change your way of being."

The end.

That is quiet an interesting story. I think Thomas was one of them on my 6th floor. 🤔 A monastery is a good tip. Well written. You have my vote. Enjoy your day. 💕

@wakeupkitty Unfortunately some of our friends may have to go to a psychiatrist, especially when we are on the trail of achieving more "steem token". Thank you for reading. Your comment encourages me to continue despite the madness. LOL

@felixgarciap That is the spirit! You come up with great things so please, keep writing! 💕
