Memorable event! A weekend freewrite
We are once again working hard to ensure that you have a memorable event.
This is what Peter said to Charles who was the Director of City Hall Events. That night the Mayor would give important announcements for the benefit of the community.
The central government had sent them huge resources with which it had to meet the priority needs of the city such as street lighting, drinking water supply and garbage collection.
There were many shortcomings in these services, but it was hoped that from that night after informing the population, the problems would begin to be corrected, which would alleviate the protests of the neighbors.
Charles shut his eyes so tight, his lips curled off his teeth as if he were in pain.
Seeing that in the place where the event was going to be held, some people intended to kidnap the authorities without letting the event take place normally.
He addressed they by the loudspeakers, he ordered them to be patient and give the opportunity to the Mayor since he had important announcements to make.
In view of that request without changing the aptitude they had, Mary one of their leaders, asked them to be calm.

All in unison protested since she was demonstrating a weak aptitude at that time.
Not happy with it, they shouted at him, telling him that he should get off the stage because they didn't want his help. In that the Mayor appeared and everyone remained silent, despite the protests of the people, his presence inspired them respect.
He began his speech immediately giving him the news of the projects that would be carried out in the short term. After talking half an hour with the details of what was achieved. The people who protested before burst into applause. And Charles was happy since the event was more successful than expected.
