5 Minute Freewrite Day 466: Cookie Cutter
A lazy sunday afternoon in the house of a certain elven family. The father was a musician, bard extraordinarie with the sweetest and most velvety voice; and the mother was a painter of exquisite technique and artistic sense. Their child?, a small girl who hasn’t found her main passion, but who liked to try anything.
After a walk trought the market, the child’s brain got an idea: “let’s bake some sweets!“ she said to her parents, and flour and eggs, and sugar and many other stuff they bough. “What recipe should we use for this cookies?” her parents asked while activating the firestones of the oven.
The child, eagerly mixing stuff, purple eyes shining with an inventiveness that would make The Temple of Invention proud, just turned her head a little and quickly said “Crescent Moonstuffed!, I’ve just invented them!”. Both adults smiled while she manually cut the dough into slightly crooked crescent moons, and thought that for them, she was as unique as those ideas, “no cookie cutter, no Caelynn cutter”.
